Propulsion Performance Engineer – Level 3

**Description:**
You will be the Propulsion Performance Engineer for the Propulsion Performance Team which is responsible for advancing propulsion system capabilities across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Propulsion Performance Engineer you will be responsible for leading technical analysis, modeling, testing, and integration of propulsion systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Conduct performance analysis of aircraft/engine interfaces and identify optimization opportunities.
+ Lead installation, testing, and validation of new propulsion systems.
+ Develop and refine propulsion system models and simulations.
+ Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross‑functional design teams.
+ Support program travel and collaborate with engine manufacturers and external partners.
