Position Summary

PSCI 442: Theories of International Relations

A study of the most important theories, approaches, concepts, and debates within the field of International Relations. Examining the connections between IR Theory and the actual events, both historical and contemporary, of world politics. Position Requirements • MA or PhD in Political Science or equivalent discipline. Preference related to academic qualifications will be given in the following order: applicants with PhDs; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework and are enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework but are not currently enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who are enrolled in a PhD program but have not completed PhD coursework; applicants with a Masters degree.
• Experience with teaching or research related to the course’s subject matter.
• A record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level.
