About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate, experienced Psychiatrist to work in our South Community Mental Health Team. This role will work with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of nurses, allied health and support staff primarily caring for people living in rural and remote communities.

Primarily based in Hawera, the Central and South Taranaki area covers a large geographical area dotted with small communities around our beautiful maunga (mountain), Taranaki. The clinical team travels the breadth of this area providing follow up and support within the community setting however Psychiatry clinics are held on site and supported by the clinical staff.
