Child + Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatrist Locum to Permanent Job Highly Desirable Area of New York

We have an immediate and ongoing need for a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide coverage from Monday to Friday during daytime hours. This is a fantastic opportunity in a highly sought-after area of New York.

Position Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours, 40 hours per week
Patient Population: Children and adolescents aged 5-17
Average Length of Stay: 16 days
Credentialling timeline averages around 3 months
Facility prefers candidates open to locums to permanent

Units:
2 Adolescent Units (18 beds and 30 beds)
1 Preadolescent Unit (5-12 years of age, 15 beds)
Total C&A Beds: 63
Current Census: 10, 10, and 5 (summer average); up to 55 in winter across all units
Duties are shared with other Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners<...
