Clinical Details

• Under the direction of a Psychiatrist, provide psychiatric nursing and mental health care for inmates/residents
• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders
• Offer individual and group therapy
• Prescribe and monitor medications
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Provide crisis intervention when needed
• Call: Accept on-call status

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
