QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Must be licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Examiners in Psychology
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
JOB GOAL: To assess the psycho-educational needs of students referred for special education services and to provide support to school sites including intervention strategies, behavior management techniques/plans and consultation.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Administer and interpret tests of mental abilities, aptitudes, interests and personality traits or characteristics, for such purposes as psychological evaluation or for educational or vocational selection, guidance or placement for assigned schools and throughout the district upon request.
+ Evaluate individual students’ intellectual and academic functioning, addressing psychological, medical, historical and environmental dynamics for school-age and/or early childhood...
