Psychological Therapies Support Worker

Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a commitment to psychological care to work as a job share with the current psychological therapies support worker.

This current post holder is currently based at the Macmillan Horizon Centre, Royal Sussex County. The new post holder could also be based there or at Worthing hospital. 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide support, care and assessment of patients and immediate family members accessing this service. This will involve a combination of administrative work, and patient contact, by phone, email, online and face to face. The post holder is often the first point of contact for patients and carers and will require excellent communication skills, be highly organised and be able to work independently and also work alongside other members of the Psychological therapies team and liaise with other staff within cancer services and in prim...
