Opportunity Description
Job Summary:
The psychologist will provide individual and group therapy to adult patients int he Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. Patients are diverse and often a high risk out-patient population. Part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, psychologists and trainees. This position will be part of the dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) team conducting patient groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment. *If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy and mental health experience working with Adult patients strongly preferred.
Work Days:
Monday-Friday Day hours
