Purchasing Specialist

Requirements and Qualifications

• With a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any related business course.
• With at least 2 years’ experience in purchasing – sourcing, vendor relations, negotiations, facilitation of item pick-up, filing and admin works, document management.
• Must have experience in IMPEX (import-export of goods), and proven network of freight forwarders/customs brokers.
• Preferably from engineering/construction industries – able to understand steel, aggregate, structural/civil/architectural/plumbing/electrical works specifications.
• Preferably with a wide network of contractors – general, specialized, etc.
• With a valid driver’s license.
• Very technologically-savvy: Whatsapp, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel, Google Calendar.
• With confident personality and able to communicate with all types of personalities.
• Very cost conscious and creative with negotiations.
