QA Engineer - Safety & Investigation

Report To

Manager Quality Assurance (Safety & Investigation)

Position Summary

Assure the overall safety and serviceability state of the assigned aircraft, fleet type and the integrity of its supporting system inclusive of Personnel, Equipment, Maintenance Programmes and methods.

Key Accountability

• Perform Investigations , Surveillance for events concerning MAB aircraft and components , aircraft incidents, major defects, and recurring discrepancies.
• Conduct Risk Assessment and Prepare Management of Change as assigned by MQA S&I (i.e. for MRIEA, Concessions, Opening of new destinations)
• To raise and close ICARUS safety reports as assigned by MQA S&I.
• Attend meetings, discussions, and consultations pertinent to safety as and when directed. Attend meetings as assigned by HQA and or MQA S&I
