Opportunity Description
The Plant Government Regulations Coordinator (GRC Engineer) is responsible for ensuring all vehicles produced at the plant comply with applicable government regulations, certification requirements, and corporate quality standards. This role supports new model launches, audits, vehicle certification, regulatory compliance, and interaction with corporate functions and government agencies.
1. Ensure vehicles meet all government regulations, certification, emissions, and labeling requirements prior to release.
2. Manage and support Finished Vehicle Audits and regulatory inspections for self‑certifying and non‑self‑certifying markets.
3. Support new Modal launches, Fresh Eye Reviews, label reviews, and launch readiness activities.
4. Monitor, document, and report regulatory compliance issues, campaigns, stop‑ships, and containment actions.
5. Coordinate internal and external audits and reviews (e.g., ISO, Conformity of Production, government or certification audits).
