AIRPORT INDUSTRIA – CAPE TOWN Boilershop Team Leader Qualifications Qualified boilermaker with minimum 5-8 years of working experience Own transport and a valid unendorsed license Availability for overtime, public holidays, weekends, callouts, and December and Easter shutdowns Previous experience in a steel environment (Meltshop) is an advantage Extensive knowledge of structural steel with the ability to read drawings and build equipment with minimal supervision Team player and ability to work independently when required Ability to work under challenging conditions Basic knowledge of Health & Safety Rules Knowledge of various hand and workshop tools is an advantage No fear of heights or confined spaces Experience with Automated Maintenance systems Good fitness levels and mobility Responsibilities Responsible for manufacture/fabrication/assembly and/or erection of work Responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance of machinery in and around the plant Responsible for attending to breakdowns of ...
