Quality Assurance Tester

Scope of Responsibilities

1. Data Validation & Testing
2. • Perform SQL-based validation of BDM tables, views, reports, and dashboards
3. • Validate data mappings, transformations, and reconciliation across EDW → ADM → BDM layers
4. • Ensure data completeness, consistency, and integrity
5. Test Planning & Execution
6. • Prepare test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios based on business requirements
7. • Execute functional, regression, and data validation testing
8. • Document test results and maintain test evidence
9. Defect Management
10. • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
11. • Coordinate with developers and stakeholders for issue resolution and re-testing
12. • Support root cause analysis of data-related issues
13. QA Governance & Reporting
14. • Support QA SLA monitoring and reporting activities
15. • Maintain QA documentation, traceability, and audit-ready records
