Purpose of the Job

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that quality standards, systems, and processes are effectively implemented and maintained across the manufacturing operation. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining a system to monitor and improve process quality, defect prevention, customer compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring that products meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements while maintaining the integrity of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications & Experience Matric (Grade 12) Relevant Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field Bachelor’s degree in quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline (advantageous) Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within automotive or steel manufacturing Experience in press, weld, or metal forming environments will be advantageous Technical Pre-Requisites Strong understanding of Quality Management Syst...
