Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
include the following (other duties may be assigned): Lead investigations into root cause analysis and corrective action reports (8D) for customers. Collaborate with other departments and SPT sites to resolve issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield and reduce scrap cost. Support 5S improvement through regular audits and Gemba walks. Investigate and take corrective action in response to process excursions. Prepare quality reports and hold regular quality communication sessions with manufacturing staff to promote quality education. Train QA inspectors on good quality practices, data collection, reporting, and feedback. Prepare documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and One Point Lessons (OPL) to support quality improvement activities. Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) on critical production measurement devices and ensure all devices are fit for purpose. Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits. ...
