Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Responsibilities Serves as the senior quality engineer with responsibility for critical programs/projects. Establishes and monitors the quality engineering parameters and metrics for assigned projects where scope of work may encompass fabrication, manufacturing, remanufacturing, technology insertion, fielding's, and all other operational support phases.
