Quality Technician

Job Summary: This role is primarily responsible to provide the necessary direction, resources and support to ensure that inspection and audit services meet the needs and requirements of the quality system and of the Quality and Production Departments.

Required Qualifications

• Training in a quality-related field
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• 2 years of related experience or equivalent

Critical Success Factors

• Weld experience and/ or inspection experience
• Experience in an industrial fabrication and assembly environment
• Good understanding of flat development and inspections methods, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, Metrology, and Statistical Process Control fundamentals
• Project Management skills
• Experience in an industrial metal fabrication and assembly environment
