Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential property and possess strong technical skills in quantity surveying.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and analyse tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met within budgetary constraints. Utilize construction costing software such as Candy or any other CCS to accurately manage project costs. Utilize QTO or Cost X software for quantity take-off and cost estimation.
