Opportunity Description
The Radiation Therapist provides all aspects of direct patient care during the delivery of radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Activities related, but not limited to, patient care includes scheduling, patient education and record keeping of all aspects of the daily treatments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Satisfactory completion of an accredited radiation therapy technology education program
+ Must be registered by the ARRT or board eligible.
+ Must be licensed by New York State Department of Health as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (Radiation Therapist)
+ Previous experience preferred but not required.
+ Proficient with the following preferred but not required:
+ Elekta Versa HD, Varian 2100EX, Philips Big Bore RT CT Simulator, Philips TumorLOC, Philips Pinnacle, and Mosaiq R&V System.
