RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST III

Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient workflow of the daily operations of Diagnostic Radiology for both inpatient and outpatient procedures within the Radiology Department. This includes providing patients with diagnostic radiologic testing, as well as assuring specials are scheduled accordingly and supplies are available.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

1. * When assigned to work in a room, performs radiologic procedures with all x-ray equipment only when requested by a physician. Introduces self to patient and fully explains the exam prior to the start of the exam. Obtains proper patient history, including previous allergic reactions, history of allergies, menstrual history, other information that is appropriate to the patient's safety, as well as necessary clinical information.
