Opportunity Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures at level of Radiologic Technologist 2.
- Is responsible for daily operational tasks such as: Patient flow, delegation of duties and assignment of tasks.
- Participates in and/or completes performance appraisals and meets regularly with partners to provide feedback.
- Maintains smooth and efficient workflow in the Diagnostic Radiology Department; is an active participant in scanning patients daily.
- Responds to technical questions, concerns, and problems from Diagnostic Radiology and other Mercy staff, including physicians.
- Troubleshoots equipment problems and coordinates with Manager and BioMed to ensure unplanned downtime is managed,
- Ensures adequate par levels of supplies and linen; reorders as necessary.
