MRI Technologist

This entry-level position works under the supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor. The role aims to achieve initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services. Responsibilities include providing safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centric care under routine or emergent conditions. The technologist prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians. Communication and collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team are essential. Utilizing specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques, a diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures are performed. Post-procedure reviews are conducted to confirm that all required elements are completed and documented.
