Radiology Technology Assistant - Full Time- 36hrs/week- Days

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of clerical, technical, and patient related duties according to established protocols. The Radiology Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting members of the Radiology team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams/procedures and patient transporting. May be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities and /or clinical services per operational needs. Performs related duties as required.
+ Assist patients and staff in Radiology Imaging Departments
+ Explain examination procedures to patients, help prepare them for the exam and review any screening forms associated with the exam.
