Radiometric Metrologist – Somerset West
A renowned Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a Radiometric Metrologist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of aerospace measurement instruments through precise calibration and maintenance.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Industrial Physics
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a relevant engineering field
- Experience in spectral & radiometric measurements
- Handling and Adjusting Delicate Instruments
- Proficiency in Spectroscopy Concepts
- Microsoft Office
- Python Software
- Understanding of radiometric principles
- Proficiency in sensor calibration technique
- Knowledge of traceability standards
