Department Overview

Our division is responsible for creating customer touchpoints through offline channels and driving business growth, with a primary focus on the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops. Our shops are more than just points of contract; they serve as the front line of customer engagement, playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience by offering a cross-section of Rakuten Group services, including telecommunications, fintech, and e-commerce.

The Shop Operations Section serves as the strategic hub for retail operations. We oversee everything from the development of our physical store network and backend call center functions to the product development of systems and devices that streamline in-store operations.
