A caring and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in Hereford is looking to appoint an Early Career Teacher of Religious Education from January 2026.

RE plays an important role within the school’s curriculum, encouraging respectful discussion, ethical thinking and critical engagement with belief and philosophy. The department is well organised and places a strong emphasis on mentoring and professional development for ECTs.

You will teach RE across KS3 and KS4, supported by clear schemes of work and collaborative planning. Lessons encourage debate and enquiry while maintaining academic rigour, and ECTs are guided carefully in managing discussion-based classrooms.
