About the Role:
SiSTEM is hiring experienced reading and writing tutors to work with motivated students and families in the greater Houston area.
This is not a volume tutoring gig. Our tutors work as trusted academic partners with families who value expertise, helping students become stronger readers, clearer writers, and more confident communicators at every level.
If you can tutor any of the following, we want to hear from you:
Elementary Reading & Writing (Grades K–5):
- Phonics, decoding, and reading fluency.
- Reading comprehension strategies.
- Sight words and vocabulary building.
- Handwriting, spelling, and grammar basics.
- Sentence and paragraph writing.
- Creative and narrative writing.
Middle School ELA (Grades 6–8):
- Reading comprehension and literary analysis....
