Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Aquatics Center, Fairchild AFB, WA. The primary purpose of this position is to observes swimming area to ensure safety of patrons. This is a Flexible position; guaranteed 0 hours, may work up to 40 hours/ week; depending on the facility needs. Applications will be reviewed for consideration every other Monday after Opening Date. If vacancies are filled before closing date the job posting will close earlier. Responsibilities Continuously observes swimming area to ensure safety of patrons. Ensures the swimming area is open to patrons at scheduled times and only authorized persons are admitted to the area. Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first aid, and calls for medical assistance if and when needed. W ams swimmers of unsafe environmental or health conditions, ocean conditions of rough water or hazards, and recommends closing swimming areas until safe conditions prevail. When wor...
