Recreation Aid- Lifeguard

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. This position is a Flexible position not exceed September 30, 2023. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must possess lifeguard certification, first-aid and CPR training certification. Responsibilities 1. Continuously observe the pool to ensure safety. 2. Ensures only authorized patrons are admitted to the area. 3. Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first-aid, and calls for medical assistance when needed. 4. Warns patrons of unsafe conditions. 5.
