WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant waste management onboard, contributing to environmental sustainability and operational excellence.
·   Act as Designated Person within the Garbage Management Plan, responsible for all waste management processes onboard
·   Monitor proper waste segregation and ensure full compliance with environmental regulations and company procedures
·   Coordinate waste disposal operations and ensure correct labeling, storage, and landing of all waste types
·   Prepare Waste Notifications for ports and ensure compliance with ship-specific Waste Disposal Schedules
·   Support audits and inspections, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
·   Provide training and guidance to crew on waste management and hazardous materials handling
