Redeployment Manager

UCL is undergoing significant organisational change through service simplification and workforce transformation. Supporting colleagues who are at risk of redundancy to secure suitable alternative employment within the institution is a strategic priority, both to retain skills and capability and to minimise compulsory redundancies.

The Redeployment Manager plays a critical operational role within the Recruitment Operations team, working at pace with redeployees and hiring managers to actively match skills to vacancies, increase redeployment outcomes, and embed redeployment as a routine and credible route to filling vacancies across UCL.

This role is outcome-focused and target-driven, with clear expectations around redeployment rates, throughput of redeployees supported, and the proportion of vacancies filled through redeployment.
