Regional Chartering Manager MPL IMEA

Has accountability and the responsibility for chartering activities of fixing non-Maersk owned vessels and identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy.

• Procures off-fleet services for breakbulk cargo via Ocean with responsibility for quality control and management of the service/asset.
• Is active in fixing vessels, identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy.
• Develops and maintains positive and constructive relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Assists in identifying and developing new business relationships and opportunities by proactive interaction with vendors/brokers.
• Recommends and executes commercial strategies for the vendor category.
• Explains and promotes the chosen deployment strategy to the team, ensuring alignment of geographical, period and customer prioritizations.
