Opportunity Description
The Assisted Living Division of The New Jewish Home is seeking a per diem Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team! The RD will work onsite 7.5 hours per week or 15 hours per month. The location is 2553 University Avenue, Bronx, NY 10468.
Job Summary:
+ Provides nutrition assessment/clinical services to residents in the assisted living facility.
+ Handles medical record documentation, MDS 3.0 completion and resident/patient/family education.
+ Participates in the interdisciplinary care plan meetings, and meal rounds.
Requirements:
+ Registered Dietitian.
+ Two years clinical experience in long term care preferred
