About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) role at Tane Mahuta, part of Regional Rehabilitation Services, Central Regional Forensic & Rehabilitation Psychiatric Inpatient Units, Te Korowai-Whāriki, requires mental health nursing experience. The RN practices within a multi‑disciplinary team, fosters a person‑centred approach with whānau participation, and supports individually identified goals within the rehabilitation framework. The RN is part of a team nursing approach that commits to enhanced communication, increased patient satisfaction, and research and utilisation of current best‑practice principles; supporting change implementation and ongoing enhancement for service quality improvement and patient safety.
