Registered Nurse- Clinical Resource RN

Summary The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is a registered Nurse (RN) who manages & coordinates care of patients in Surgical Care Clinics & the facility at large. They are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, & evaluating direct & indirect nursing care. The CRN is accountable for care, focused on patient transition throughout the continuum of care, patient & family education, patient self-management upon discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Major Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible & accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level.
