Registered Nurse - District Nursing

About the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with extensive community nursing experience to join our district nursing team in South Canterbury. The position is Permanent, Part‑Time (0.6 FTE, 48 hours per fortnight) and involves rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized care plans to support patients’ rehabilitation and recovery in their homes.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care staff such as Enrolled Nurses and Clinical Associates.
• Collaborate closely with Allied Health professionals, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care Nurses, and Primary Care providers.
• Deliver a safe and effective patient‑focused service.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate.
