Registered Nurse - Hempstead Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers direct clinical care across a full spectrum of sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, abortion care, colposcopy, and LEEP. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, this role requires flexibility to rotate across PPGNY health centers. Practicing within the full scope of New York State RN licensure and in accordance with PPGNY standards of care.



ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SRH Clinical Care and ICA Patient Care (90%)

• Reviews the patient health history for completeness and records findings. Alerts APC regarding critical information about the patient’s chief complaint, history of present illness, and other current or past medical or social problems.

• Provides care to patients receiving family planning, abortion, colposcopy, LEEP, and other GYN services according to PPGNY medical policies and procedures under the direction of APC, or phys...
