Facility: 353 Fairmont Blvd., Rapid City, SD Level II Trauma Center Level III NICU Level II Pediatric Trauma On the Journey to Magnet Status Designation Primary Stroke and Chest Pain Center Teaching Hospital 417 Beds General Information Beds: 39 MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU mixed unit Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? 2+ years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? No. Minimum one prior travel assignment Traveler must reside > 100 miles outside of facility Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma Diagnoses include: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma heavy trauma population Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers Will not ta...
