Unit Information:o Beds: 29? Census? Average patients/day? 29o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years in Adult ICUo Will you accept a first-time traveler? Must have completed at least (1) 13-week assignment? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:o Neuro ICU to include but not limited to ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injuries, seizures/status epilepticus, spinal cord injuries, EVD drains/ICP monitoring, post op Crani's (straight from OR), IR (straight from procedure), TNK patients - 50% of administrations will be done on the unit vs. EDo Some off-service Trauma or Medical ICU patients? Patient Ratios:o RN: 1:2
sometimes will be tripled, if patients have downgrade orderso CNA - not consistently staffed on this unit? Required Certifications:o BLS, ACLS, NIHSS?
