DEPARTMENT: MEDICAL/SURGICAL/COMPLEX CONTINUING CARE POSITION LOCATION: WIARTON UNION AFFILIATION: ONA STATUS: PART-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE DECEMBER 2027) REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT WAGE RATE: $40.24 - $57.68
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to patients in order to attain or maintain optimal function.
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
Required
- Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario registration or eligibility
- Physical Assessment course
- BCLS
- ACLS and Code Blue
- Recent Medicine/Surgical/Critical Care Experience
- Venipunctures to establish an IV required
- IV medications below the drip chamber required
