The Town of Milk River (population about 825) is located about 300 kilometers southeast of Calgary and about an hour southeast of Lethbridge. It is the only place you can reach the US border in 10 minutes’ drive! Visit the spectacular Waterton National Park in just over an hour’s drive, and ancient Indigenous stone writings only a half hour away! Along with its extremely low land prices, friendly small-town living, and its close proximity to both Lethbridge and the Canada/United States Border, and the warm Southern Alberta chinooks, Milk River is an attractive place to call home. Serving the farming and ranching community, the Milk River Health Centre provides a range of health care services to including emergency, long term care, lab & diagnostic imaging, along with other allied health programs.
