NSICU patients do not go to recovery room post-op; they will return to the unit for recovery. Multi-care level unit and RNs should be prepared to care for up to five Med Surg patients. EVDs placed at the bedside. EVD experience and joint commission stroke certified facility experience required. GRID patients: EEG leads implanted in brain to detect seizures. These patients can be on the unit for up to three weeks.
