Description
The role of the Registered Nurse is to work as a member of the corrections health care team by demonstrating knowledge for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. Positions available at Marion County Correctional Facility and Sumter County Correctional Facility.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to use the nursing process, as evidenced by physical and psychosocial observation skills. Communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and clinical judgment. Maintain patient confidentiality. Spanish fluency is desirable, but...
