Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neuro/Peds

Ortho/Neuro/Peds Unit is a 30-bed medical, surgical, pediatric specialty unit. Ortho and Neuro programs in ONP are Rush Copley Strategic Initiatives. We are a part of the Center for Joint Reconstruction and Replacement Program and Primary Stroke Center. Our 6-bed pediatric population is predominately medical with respiratory illness and is treated by pediatric-trained nurses. RN retention rate at ONP is the highest among other inpatient units with excellent nursing skill mix and customized new employee orientation. Applying for a nursing position in ONP does not require pediatric experience.
Position Summary: The registered nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients’ status, plan of care, and goal achievement.
