Registered Nurse, Per Diem Days, 7a-7p, Cardiac Access, Atlantic Health, Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem RN, c aring for primarily cardiac patients in a fast-paced same day procedure, extended recovery and observation status unit.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
3. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
4. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
5. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
+ BLS Certification
+ 2+ year experience in nursing in Cardiology Telemetry


Preferred:
+ Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field
+ Experience in Emergency or PACU
+ ACLS Certification
