Registered Nurse - Primary Care

Basic Function:The Registered Professional Nurse cares for patients by diagnosing and treating actual or potential health problems in the ambulatory setting without discrimination to age or gender through implementation of the nursing process. Coordinates care of other disciplines, delegates tasks to other nursing staff members, supervises care and evaluates results. Maintains competence in clinical practice and assists in the development of nursing practice standards through participation in professional committees and organizations. Requirements:


+ The Registered Nurse requires a license to practice in New York State.

+ Registered Nurse is expected to complete a variable orientation, duration of 4-6 weeks.

+ Ambulatory experience preferred.
