Join UVA Health’s Radiology Nursing team in Charlottesville, a nationally recognized academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center. The Radiology Nurse at UVA Health provides procedural sedation and clinical support for patients undergoing CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures, as well as MRI studies. This role includes monitoring patients with cardiac devices, supporting anesthesia teams, and ensuring a safe, seamless experience for both adult and pediatric populations.
Provide procedural sedation for CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures, including lung, liver, and renal biopsies, as well as occasional drain placements
Support MRI services by monitoring patients with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators
