Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Pre-Op RN you will assist with high acuity patients and enjoy the support of an awesome team! Our Pre-Op at Baxter Health consists of 11 beds. The Registered Nurses (RNs) on our team help to prepare a wide variety of patients from pediatric to geriatric for surgery. Our cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Urology and Gynecological (GYN) procedures. Patient acuity is from basic care to intensive care. Our unit follows ASPAN and Hospital Standards.

We do require call but you will have most weekends and holidays off. We use self, on-call scheduling. Come shadow and see if the PreOp Unit is a nursing career fit for you.
