We are seeking Registered Nurses to
support a 6-month Winter Flex initiative, working in the Flex Care Waipapa Ward
and Discharge Lounge.
This will be in the
former Medical Assessment area which will be temporarily repurposed as an inpatient
ward and discharge lounge to increase bed capacity. This role will play a key
part in supporting patient flow, enabling timely movement from the Emergency
Department to inpatient beds, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality
care.
You will be caring
for acute medical patients and those preparing to leave hospital.
About the Service
Flex care Waipapa will support the consolidation of medical
patients into cohesive care streams, improving operational efficiency and
reducing pressure on the Emergency Department.
