Registered RN with ACLS certification

The **Cardiac PETCT RN** provides direct patient care to Cardiac PETCT patients. Plans and implements individualized care using the nursing process. Coordinates all Cardiac PETCT care in patient-focused manner.

**Specific duties include, but are not limited to:**

**Supplies Cardiac PET/CT Clinical Support**

+ Administer pharmacologic stress agents (e.g., Regadenoson, Adenosine, Dobutamine) in accordance with established protocols
+ Perform IV access and ensure patency for radiopharmaceutical and medication administration
+ Monitor patients continuously during stress and imaging phases:
+ ECG rhythm
+ Blood pressure
+ Oxygen saturation
+ Patient symptoms

**Conduct pre-procedure assessment including:**

+ Medical history review
+ Medication reconciliation
+ Contraindication screening for stress agents
+ Identify high-risk patients and escalate concerns to supervising physician
